Save
the last dance for me ~ Dimond’s are forever
As
we have embarked on a new journey into parenthood, we have learned to have more
patience, greater love for not only ourselves but also for our son, and to have
the spirit dwelling in our hearts everyday. We respect each other and work
towards uplifting the other. There is love in our home because we are
continually working towards the same goal, exaltation. We are a team as we have
transitioned into parenthood.
We
are both striving everyday to live our lives to the fullest,
becoming
better than we were the day before.
As we grow older together, as we
continue to change with age, there is one thing that will never change. I will
always keep falling in love with you.
We dedicate ourselves to strengthening our marriage, family, and our
home. We find nobility in the gospel and the joy that it brings us everyday. We
delight in service and good works. We love life and learning.
And above all, we rejoice in the blessings of the Temple, understand
our divine destiny, and strive for exaltation.
_Relief Society Motto-
Communication is key. We know
that it is the number one way we are able to effectively work on our marriage.
We believe that with God, all things are possible
And that if you want to be different, be good - very few choose to be
good. Gratitude turns what we have into enough
We know that our life does not have to be perfect to be wonderful
And that no matter what comes our way we
will have peace above all costs.
We recognize that the hallmark to a happy home includes the following –
according to President Thomas S. Monson,
A library of learning
A treasury of testimony
A pattern of prayer
A legacy of love
From
everything that we have learned
this
quote ties it all together for us.
"To
get the full value of joy you must have someone to divide it with." --Mark
Twain
And
finally from all of the life lessons that we have learned together as a couple,
we go forth during the rest of our days believing, "Love is what you go
through together." --James Thurber
